Charlie Warren (BA, MA, FRCO) is a conductor, organist and music bookseller.

Charlie is Director of Music and Organist at St George’s Church, Beckenham, leading its voluntary choir and managing a weekly Friday and Saturday recital series. He co-founded Hesperos, a young and ambitious chamber choir, in 2018, and is now its musical director. Alongside his performing work he is manager of Travis & Emery Music Bookshop, Cecil Court. Travis & Emery is one of a very few bookshops in the world specialised solely in music, with an offering of antiquarian, out of print and second hand sheet music and books about music.

He was organ scholar of Merton College, Oxford for the duration of his studies for the BA in Music, graduating in 2015. During this time he worked with directors Benjamin Nicholas and Peter Phillips in the chapel, and played for thrice weekly services, concerts, recordings, and tours to Sweden and the United States. Following this he took up organ scholarships at St Paul’s Knightsbridge and St Mary’s Battersea, and in 2019 received the Diploma of Fellow of the Royal College of Organists, having studied with William Whitehead and Stephen Farr. He was organist of St Francis of Assisi RC Church, Notting Hill, from 2017-2021, working with director James Dixon and the two voluntary choirs of adults and children.
